Questions
Do I need my own Paybill or Till?
Yes - payments go straight to your own M-Pesa account through Safaricom's Daraja API. Subnetwave never holds your customers' money.
Can I use a Till number instead of a Paybill?
Yes. Choose Till (Buy Goods) when connecting, enter your till and store numbers, and prompts and payment reports work the same way.
What if a customer pays with the wrong account number?
The payment is kept in Unallocated payments with the payer's name, phone and M-Pesa code, and your team assigns it to the right customer in a click.
Is M-Pesa available outside Kenya?
Safaricom M-Pesa is for Kenyan ISPs. ISPs in other countries choose from the payment methods offered in their country.
